Luxury Fountain Pens Demand Grows
Monday 31st July, 2006

There is a new phenomenon in the world of writing. The demand for Pens, Fountain Pens and Luxury Fountain Pens is one of the biggest growth sectors of the Writing Instrument and Stationery markets.
Here at MojoLondon we are always adding to our range as demand grows. We started with the Caran d’Ache Ecridor range, which includes the pocket sized Ecridor XS Fountain Pen (£90.00) to compliment our Moleskine Notebooks. Listening to feedback from our customers we then expanded into the Caran d’ Ache Dunas Range (£37.50 in Red or Black resin) as customers wanted a more everyday quality pen.
As we looked further into Luxury Pens we were impressed with Faber Castell and decided to stock their Emotion and Ambition ranges. The Faber Castell Ambition Fountain Pens (£64.95) are crafted using pearwood and chrome plated metal. Their slender bodies are great for a precise style whereas the chunky pearwood and chrome Faber Castell Emotion Fountain Pens (£59.95) feel great in your hand and are more suited to the style with flourish.
It seems that there is no limit to the demand for quality as requests for a higher end fountain pen flooded our shop managers and web-workers ears. We totally caved in and now stock two great new pens. The Caran d’ Ache Leman Fountain Pen (£239.95) with its nine coats of ebony black lacquer and silver-plated rhodium-coated trims. Its partner is probably the most affordable Porsche of all, The Porsche P3110 Fountain Pen (£189.95) design inspired directly from the motor manufacturers parts.
The MojoLondon pricing policy has always been a fair one we always endeavour to provide our products at reasonable prices to all. All the above are available with free delivery in the UK and make a great special gift whether it’s a birthday, graduation or retirement or as we have found first day at a new school or college.
Its great to know in this technological age that writing is making a comeback and that we value what we write with.
As demand continues to grow is there a pen you can recommend? Can we do better?
