About Tec Flex
When you first hold a P3110 you will notice the unusual material the barrel is constructed from. There is a good reason behind it, as a short excursion into motor racing will show.
In order to protect electrical connections from heat and mechanical stress during the Le Mans 24 hour race, the Porsche team used Tec Flex, a cable sheath woven from stainless steel. The weave is hard—wearing, surprisingly supple and with a filigree beauty.
