Mechanical pencil combining the classic decorative motif of a traditional cannelure with a technical—cinematic interpretation of a rotary pencil.

The 17 Stems

The shaft is formed by 17 gleaming stainless steel rods. Producing or withdrawing the respective mines is achieved by turning the shaft — and changing the position of the rods. As the point extends and retracts, the stems stems twist and lie straight, then form a 'waist' in the middle as the end position is reached. A fascinating motion, this epitomises design and function in one.
